PT / FT Live In Personal Support - Clearwater

Job Overview We have an incredible young lady who is hiring for a live in staff. She is seeking FEMALE caregiver for a Part-Time or Full-Time Live-In (this is negotionable) Personal Support/care giver The Live-In caregiver will live and stay in client's home. Our agency pays for the Live-in portion of rent and utilities plus a daily wage. The live-in staff is responsible for their own groceries. You MAY work with other clients in our agency, go to school or work outside the home and still be eligible for this position. Client works outside the home and is extremely active in the community. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for for our client. You will provide services to consumers to Live-In services through APD (adult person with disabilities) and Pinellas Care Systems, Inc. Level 2 background check & local law background check is a requirement as well as free online APD educational courses. Please see the link to the new Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse Education and Awareness website: https://info.flclearinghouse.com Responsibilities Prompt for actvities of daily living (ADLs) - client is more than capable of doing this indpendently monitor preporation of nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences, ensuring safety and compliance with care plans. She can cook. Just needs verbal assistance. Administer medications following prescribed schedules and document administration in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping, laundry, and sanitation tasks. Qualifications Prior experience in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health care is highly desirable. Knowledge of patient observation techniques, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring. Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional training in Alzheimer's or dementia care is a plus. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, or other special needs preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate mobility aids effectively. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and privacy of patient information. Strong communication skills coupled with compassionate caregiving approach; social work experience is advantageous.
