Publication Assistant

Publication Assistant Page One Group, Inc. is looking for a detail-oriented individual to assist with the production of a weekly sales magazine sent to over 17k homes. Responsibilities include scheduling ad orders, creating layouts, and working with a nationwide team of salespeople, editors, and designers. This is an entry level position on site at our office in Mount Vernon, OH. The position will start as part time with opportunity to go full time. No experience is needed. Must be able to scan through lines of text quickly to find and correct errors. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Excel. We also use company software to schedule ad orders, so the right candidate must be able to adapt to new programs. Graphic Design. We use basic design principles to create effective and visually pleasing layouts and advertisements. Ability to work with deadlines. Our publication is sent to print weekly, so it is important to be comfortable in a fast-paced environment. Communication. We work with a publication team across several states, so the ideal candidate needs to have great teamwork skills and be able to collaborate effectively over the phone and email. Web Design and Photography skills are a plus, but not necessary.
