Position Summary:
Ensures continuity of raw material Analyze inventory levels Monitors on-time supplier deliveries, inventory turns, MRP execution, lead-time reduction, supplier performance and cost analysis Prepares, approves and issues accurate purchase orders and change notices Work with and advise other departments regarding optimal routing options Keep Vendor Routing Instructions current and maintain vendor notifications Communications with broker, freight carriers, ect. necessary or missing information or documents needed to clear shipments for delivery to MMC locations Manage the updating of the container log for changes in shipment ETA's, routings, and routing changes Reviews purchase order claims and contracts May negotiate major contracts involving large dollar amounts Locates suppliers for needed materials, supplies and equipment Maintains an effective business relationship with suppliers Work with all departments in the company and maintain effective communications Manages vendors to achieve the lowest possible cost and the highest quakity products Effectively manage supplier quality and problems until resolved by serving as primary contact Reports directly to the
Operation Manager Requirements:
High School diploma Excellent communication, interpersonal relationship, computer and organizational skills Pays attention to detail MAS200 experience
