Job Description Overview of the
Position:
Responsible for administrating and maintaining various QA programs within the quality control department to assure that quality system, processes, documents and training are within company standards and government regulations.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for maintaining all technical data, calibration, safety, quality documents, Repair Station Manual, CASE manual, EASA, and customer manuals/data to assure compliance with data currency requirements.
- Inform organizations of Airworthiness Directive's and important developments.
- Verification of manuals, technical data, and tool calibration.
- Read and understand all customer requirements as stated on repair and purchase orders.
- Other duties may be assigned
Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Has a strong understanding of a Repair Station and quality manuals.
- Ability to understand and apply information from component maintenance manuals, structural repair manuals, aircraft maintenance manuals, illustrated parts catalogs, service bulletins and other reference materials.
- Ability to understand regulatory requirements for airworthiness for FAA and various foreign authorities.
- Experience in the quality control and new product development within the aviation industry. Ability to read and interpret engineering/technical drawings.
- Strong PC skills with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat.
Experience Requirements:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Other Qualifications:

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.Physical Demands and Work Environment:
