Quality Control Inspector

About Us We are a small privately owned machine shop doing a wide variety of machine work. We are located in Franklin County, Missouri, less than an hour from St. Louis. We work a 4-10 work week with occasional overtime on Fridays and strive to maintain a friendly, productive and respectful environment.

Qualifications/Responsibilities:

Program parts on PC-Dmis from customer models Implement and support all required AS9100 processes & procedures. Work with AS9100 auditors when required by providing all requested information. Create and inspect bubbled drawings Create FAI reports for internal and customer use Verify dimensions and inspect parts with appropriate equipment Document and record dimensions and save in appropriate job folder Perform 1st piece inspection, in-process and final inspections Calibrate gages Create non-conformance reports and corrective actions Check and inspect returned customer parts Inspect parts after outside processing Convert metric drawings to standard measurement Review all jobs for gaging requirements prior to release to shop floor Support and implement Quality Management System Random floor inspections on "In-Process" jobs.
