Job Title:
- Quality Control Inspector Pay rate: $32 - $35 / HR Monday - Frida 8Am 5Pm
- Job Purpose
- Perform inspection activities—including Receiving Inspection (electrical and mechanical), In-Process, and Final areas of product—to ensure quality standards are met.
Inspect, audit, and report the quality levels of incoming and outgoing products, making sure customer requirements (appearance, fit, form, function, and on-time delivery) are satisfied. Accurately complete all paperwork for non-conforming reports, and reject and isolate defective parts.
- Duties & Responsibilities
- + Conduct first article/piece inspection at the start of each production run.
+ Inspect, audit, and report discrepancies in materials, processes, or designs. + Perform in-process, roving sample inspections, and quality audits using drawings, BOMs, and other documentation. + Ensure conformity to customer documentation and criteria (IPC 600, IPC 610, J-Std-001). + Perform 100% final inspections prior to shipping to customers, documenting all results. + Carry out mechanical and visual inspections in Receiving Inspection for incoming Turn-Key materials. + Maintain quality records for evaluation of internal processes and outside vendors. + Interface with Production, Inside Sales, Engineering, Program Management, and Customer Representatives. + Research customer history and apply judgment for part acceptance decisions. + Resolve issues independently and cross-train as needed.
- Qualifications
- + High school diploma or GED required.
+ Prior manufacturing experience, preferably with soldering and component recognition. + Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills; able to follow written and verbal instructions. + Capable of accurately recording inspection and test data. + Physical ability to lift, stand, climb, bend, etc., in a manufacturing environment. + Experience with small hand measuring tools, test lights, and working under a microscope. + Familiarity with ISO9001, AS9100, or
ISO13485
processes preferred. + Willingness to work overtime as required. + Strong initiative and ability to work independently. + Adherence to company policies and procedures is mandatory.
