Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Inspector to fill a critical role on our inspection team. This is not a passive inspection position. We need someone who takes initiative, digs into problems, and acts — quarantining material, documenting nonconformances, and driving root cause without waiting to be directed. You will work directly with the Quality Manager and manufacturing, and your work will be visible to leadership. Key Responsibilities Inspection & Testing Perform dimensional inspection of products using micrometers, calipers, gauges, a vision system, and CMM equipment Conduct first-piece inspections and provide real-time feedback to manufacturing, receiving inspection of incoming materials. Perform electro-mechanical assembly testing, such as hipot (dielectric withstand) and functional electrical tests using multimeters and related instruments Inspect weld joints and braze joints visually and dimensionally to
AWS D1.1, B2.2, ASME B31.1.
Monitor in-process welding and brazing operations for process control. Nonconformance & Problem Resolution Initiate, document, and process NCMRs (Nonconforming Material Reports) and RMA-related NCMRs in quality management software. Perform preliminary root cause investigation and present corrective action solution to the Quality Manager — not just the problem Support CAPA activities directed by the Quality Manager Quality System Support Assist the Quality Manager with internal audits. Maintain calibration records and support the facility's calibration program for inspection tools and measuring equipment Safety & Physical Requirements Handle heavy components safely using proper lifting techniques, mechanical assists, and PPE Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with MAC's safety policies Required Qualifications Minimum 4 years of quality inspection or quality control experience in a manufacturing environment Proficiency with precision hand tools such as micrometers, calipers, height gauges, thread gauges, and go/no-go gauges Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T callouts, and weld symbols Strong written and verbal communication skills in English & proficiency with computers to support digital workflow. Ability to lift and safely move parts up to 40 lbs; must be able to stand, kneel, stoop, and reach throughout the shift Must be authorized to work in the United States Preferred Qualifications Visual weld inspection experience: AWS CWI certification or coursework is a plus Experience with brazing or braze joint inspection Familiarity with hipot testing, continuity testing, or basic electrical assembly inspection Knowledge of

2015 QMS requirements. Experience with CMM or optical comparator operation Education Associate degree, technical degree, or vocational/trade school certificate in a related field. An equivalent combination of hands-on experience and demonstrated skills will be considered.
