Quality Control Inspector

We are seeking a Quality Control Inspector that has worked in a plastics manufacturing company inspecting plastic items (large & small) according to blueprints and other specifications. You MUST be strong with measurements, calipers, micrometers, gauges able to read a tape measure and convert standard numbers into the metric system. This position will require some experience inspecting first piece inspection, in process and final inspections according to quality standards. Tools such as Calipers, Micrometers, read and understand shop blueprints, tape measure, familiar inspecting the thickness of the plastic products, logging the data into an Excel Spreadsheet, update records and forms. •This is NOT a visual inspection position, it is a hands inspection where you are measuring to determine the item is being produced properly. Qualifications High school or equivalent Ability to perform dimensional inspections to drawing specifications Basic knowledge of statistics and sampling techniques

Manufacturing Inspection Experience:

Recent 5-8 years experience

ISO 9001

3 years (Preferred) Blueprint Reading First, in process and final inspection Micrometers/Calipers/Tape Measure Other Quality Inspection tools Able to read Metric and Standard Measuring Tape Complete reports in Microsoft Excel and other programs High attention to detail Required Education / Experience / Skills Experience in

ISO 9001

2015 5 years experience working in Quality Inspection (Plastics is a Plus). Able to read and understand engineering blueprint drawings Must be able to use and read measurements from Calipers, Height Gauges, Tape Measures and other Inspection / Test equipment as required. Ability to communicate with management and personnel throughout the organization. Must meet the criminal background and drug screen requirements for the company You will need to be within a 15 mile proximity on Conyers, Georgia. The essential function of this role include: Wearing steel to shoes. Working weekends when needed
