Quality Control Specialist - Media

A recognized media organization on Long Island is actively seeking a new Quality Control Specialist to join their team in Suffolk County, focusing on the ingest and quality control evaluation of the organization's program materials.

Responsibilities:

Utilizing and understanding industry and departmental quality control procedures Providing accurate metadata entries and reports of quality control assignments Maintaining effective communication with various departments Understanding and properly using all technical equipment related to work completion Performing other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

2+ years of related work experience Knowledge of NTSC, PAL, and HD video/audio broadcast standards Experience in researching and troubleshooting Familiarity with digital file formats and standards Strong analytical and critical thinking skills High level of attention to detail Excellent interpersonal skills Ability to adapt to new technologies and workflows quickly

Desired Qualifications:

2+ relevant work experience in a Broadcast Television environment Bachelor's Degree Experience with Evertz Mediator platform Familiarity with Digital File formats Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
