Activities are focused around assuring product is compliant and customer expectations are met. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Technical unbiased voice to and from the customer regarding Quality matters and expectations with support from QE II or the Quality Manager Responsible for FAI, customer and government source inspections Creating product and process quality plans Determines the controls on production devices directly affecting the quality of the product Review changes to the product, processes and materials Reviews Drawings (that include GD&T) and process instructions for accuracy, risk and completeness Assist/resolve Quality in-process issues Monitors product/process performance for trends in efforts to prevent the generation of defective material or opportunities for improvement Supports internal and external quality and or process audits Qualifications B.S. degree in engineering or equivalent or 2 years' experience in the field of Quality (ASQ certifications are a plus). Familiar with ISO9001 Quality Management System standard (AS9100 is a plus) Adept with standard measuring equipment. Basic understanding of statistics.
