Quality Inspector

As a Quality Inspector you will perform quality control inspections, checks, and tests during the manufacture of wire & cable assemblies. You will inspect materials, parts and products at different stages of production.

Responsibilities:

Approves incoming materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials Accurately document the results of the inspections and testing by completing reports and logs; input data into quality database. Maintain all controlled document files and test records in a timely and accurate manner. Coordinate calibration of all test equipment and fixtures Monitor critical equipment and instrumentation to ensure proper operation and calibration. Participate in the construction and/or revision of SOPs for the inspection function. Assist in the writing and updating inspection procedures, protocol and checklists. Evaluate problems and make initial recommendations for possible corrective action to supervise.

Qualifications:

High School Degree or equivalent experience required 2 years required, 3 years preferred of quality inspector experience Ability to analyze information Ability to report research results Strong documentation and organizational skills Strong attention to detail Strong math skills Ability to use measurement equipment Basic computer skills #LI-HD1
