Job Description

Job Summary:
This position is responsible for inspecting manufactured products, including supplied components, to ensure company and regulatory quality requirements are met. The role will also identify and recommend continuous improvement opportunities and assist with implementation efforts as assigned.
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Complete daily quality control tasks: Complete inspections of supplied components Complete random inspections of processes and product quality, including appropriate documentation Identify and segregate any nonconforming products/components, including appropriate documentation and notification Complete final inspections, including appropriate documentation Assist with investigations into causes of nonconforming products Recommend corrective and mistake-proofing actions Assist Quality Engineers and Production Supervisors by completing assigned tasks Recommend production process improvement opportunities and serve on improvement project teams as assigned Other duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong analytical, problem-solving, and continuous improvement skills Ability to understand written and verbal instructions, diagrams, and technical documentation Basic mathematical skills including fractions and decimals Strong interpersonal skills and ability to adapt to different situations Knowledge of manufacturing best practices Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines Ability to work independently and make informed decisions Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word Experience with manufacturing software systems and quality documentation tools preferred
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required Preferred 4-6 years of manufacturing experience, including at least 3 years in electronics assembly or quality-related environments Basic understanding of
IPC/WHMA-A-620, ISO
9001, and similar quality standards required Experience reading and interpreting technical prints and schematics required IPC certification or advanced electronics assembly experience preferred
Physical Requirements:
Regularly required to speak and listen Frequent periods of sitting and computer work Frequent periods of standing for up to 30 minutes Frequently required to reach with hands and arms Occasional lifting and squatting of up to 25 pounds Frequent exposure to active production floor environments and standard manufacturing hazards Please send all resumes to sabrina.pike@gogpac.com.
