Job Description

Position Summary We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join K&S Manufacturing . This role is responsible for inspecting fabricated metal parts and assemblies to ensure products meet company standards, customer specifications, and safety requirements. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, eager to learn, and committed to maintaining high quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Inspect fabricated metal parts, weldments, and assemblies for quality and accuracy Use measuring tools such as calipers, tape measures, micrometers, and gauges Verify dimensions and specifications against blueprints, drawings, and work orders Identify and document defects, non-conforming materials, or production issues Communicate quality concerns with production, welding, and management teams Maintain accurate inspection records and reports Ensure compliance with company safety procedures and quality standards Assist with first article, in-process, and final inspections Help maintain a clean and organized work environment Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Previous manufacturing or fabrication experience preferred but not required Ability to read basic blueprints and measuring instruments is a plus Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Basic computer and documentation skills Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift Willingness to learn and work in a team environment Preferred Skills Familiarity with metal fabrication processes such as welding, cutting, grinding, or machining Experience using inspection or precision measuring equipment Understanding of quality standards and manufacturing procedures Work Environment Manufacturing and shop environment with exposure to noise, dust, and moving equipment Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, gloves, and steel-toe boots Benefits Referral Program Onsite gym Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays 401(k) with company match On-the-job training and advancement opportunities
