Quality Inspector II Schedule:
2nd Shift Overtime as Needed (Including Occasional Weekends)Pay Range:
$24-$29/hr + 10% shift differentialPosition Summary:
Express Employment Professionals is recruiting a Quality Inspector II for a growing advanced manufacturing company. This position is responsible for performing detailed in-process and final inspections to ensure products meet strict customer, company, and industry quality standards. This role is ideal for an experienced quality professional with strong inspection knowledge, advanced GD&T understanding, and experience working within ISO-regulated manufacturing environments. The Quality Inspector II will also mentor team members, support compliance initiatives, and help maintain high-quality production standards throughout the facility.Key Responsibilities:
Inspection & Quality Control Perform in-process and final inspections with minimal supervision Inspect products and components for compliance with specifications and customer requirements Complete First Article Inspections (FAI) and customer certification documentation Inspect incoming products from outside processing vendors Utilize precision measuring tools and inspection equipment to verify dimensions and tolerances Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and manufacturing documentation Ensure compliance with ISO9001 processes and quality procedures Assist with audits, compliance activities, and quality-related projects Team Support & Mentorship Train and mentor new and current employees on inspection procedures and department processes Provide guidance and troubleshooting support to less experienced inspectors Help maintain consistent quality standards across production teams Communicate inspection findings clearly and professionally with production and management teamsRequired Qualifications:
Candidates MUST have: Minimum 5 years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment preferred Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) perASME Y14.5 GD&T
training certificate from a recognized instructor Experience reading and interpreting detailed manufacturing drawings and specifications Strong experience using hand measurement tools and inspection equipment Knowledge ofISO 9001
standards; AS9100 and/orISO13485
experience strongly preferred Experience using Microsoft Office, ERP systems (Mie Trak preferred), and quality software/tools Ability to work independently while maintaining accuracy and quality standardsPreferred Qualifications:
Experience using CMM equipment and SolidWorks preferred Extensive knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality systems Prior mentoring or training experience in a manufacturing environment preferredWhat We're Looking For:
