Quality Inspectors

Quality Inspector responsible for performing source and final inspections on machined and manufactured components using precision measurement equipment and documented quality standards. Job Requirements Proven experience as a Quality Inspector in a manufacturing environment Experience performing source inspections and final inspections Strong knowledge of GD&T Strong print reading ability Demonstrated ability to measure to ±0.0001" accuracy Hands-on experience with analog micrometers and precision inspection tools Experience using calipers, indicators, height gages, and bore gages Ability to independently set up inspection methods, gaging, and fixturing Experience inspecting runout, cylindricity, and concentricity Experience reviewing drawings, specifications, and inspection plans Ability to document inspection results accurately Experience identifying and communicating nonconformances Experience inspecting machined and manufactured components Experience inspecting a variety of materials and geometries, including metal components and soft goods such as gaskets and O-rings Ability to work onsite in a hands-on inspection role Preferred Skills Experience with VICI Vision optical measurement systems Experience with Keyence IM8000 Experience with Keyence LJ8000 Experience supporting backlog reduction initiatives Experience inspecting stems, valve bodies, gaskets, and O-rings Experience setting up and using gages, fixtures, and V-blocks Job Responsibilities Perform source inspections and final inspections on machined and manufactured components Measure parts to tight tolerances, including dimensions down to ±0.0001" Use and interpret precision measurement tools including analog micrometers, calipers, indicators, height gages, and bore gages Set up and use gages, fixtures, and V-blocks to inspect features such as runout, cylindricity, and concentricity Inspect a wide variety of components, materials, and geometries including metal parts, gaskets, and O-rings Review drawings, specifications, and inspection plans to verify compliance Accurately document inspection results Communicate nonconformances to quality and production teams Support shop floor and quality operations in meeting production and backlog reduction goals
