Quality Manager

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Quality Manager to lead our quality assurance and control initiatives across manufacturing operations. You will be tasked with the planning, coordination, and implementation of business activities to ensure quality in production and distribution in order to meet our customers' high quality standards. Your expertise will drive continuous improvement in product quality, safety, and reliability, fostering a culture of excellence throughout the organization. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join our small, family run manufacturing company. Schedule is Monday-Thursday 6 AM-4:30 PM and Fridays as necessary. Responsibilities Understand customer needs and requirements to develop effective quality control plans / processes Audit control plans for adherence. Devise, review and implement specifications for products or processes Set requirements for raw material or intermediate products for suppliers and monitor their compliance Review all quality issues from suppliers and customers and perform the appropriate corrective actions and follow-up. Mentor inspectors, technicians and other staff and provide guidance and feedback Inspect final output and compare properties to requirements Make the final accept / reject decisions. Keep accurate documentation and perform statistical analysis Review company performance against customer requirements for quality levels Submit detailed reports to appropriate executives Be on the lookout for opportunities for improvement and develop new efficient procedures Additional duties added as needed Willingness to learn new skills and provide additional value Requirements and skills Proven experience as Quality Engineer A conscientious and responsible individual with a keen eye for detail and a results driven approach Outstanding communication skills with both internal employees and external customers Excellent organizational and leadership skills Proficient in MS Office In depth understanding of quality control procedures and relevant legal standards Excellent math abilities and working knowledge of data analysis/statistical methods

Pay:

$70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
