Job Description

Job Summary:
Responsible for performing diversified duties in order to audit, evaluate and ensure that specifications are met and effectively communicate with supervision and management. Make decisions regarding conformance and take necessary actions for non-conforming products. Performs other duties including training and diversified quality activities.
Essential Functions:
Pull, understand and communicate information from the Quality Management System(QMS) Perform First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR's) Perform Passdown Report and distribute at the end of each shift Perform final inspections as required based upon department, customer or product Communicate findings to supervision and management both verbally and written Perform inspections in one department (Medical or Industrial) Patrol department continuously to assist in compliance and containment activities Make judgement evaluations based upon documentation located within the QMS Perform auditing and/or sorting activities as needed Contain non-conforming product per QMS system Monitor gauges for compliance while auditing Compliance with all safety requirements and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Assist other Technicians as needed and other duties as assigned by
Quality Manager Skills:
Computer competency and ability to work with Microsoft Office Required Ability to read and understand technical drawings and documents Basic measurement conversions (fractions to decimals) Ability to use basic hand measurement tools (Calipers, Height Gages, etc.) Good communication skills both verbal and written•
Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma required
Experience:
Willing to train; Familiarity with Manufacturing Environment preferred
Special Requirements:
Subject to manufacturing, lab & warehouse conditions
Pay:
From $16.00 per hour
