Shift:
Weekend C Shift (
Friday, Saturday, Sunday:
6:00am
  • 6:00pm) Work 36 hours paid for 40!

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
: Perform calibration, verification, and certification of CMM equipment. First piece inspection and in-process records. Perform customer dimensional layouts. Problem solving and troubleshooting production processes. Set-up, master, and correlate production floor gauges with metrology lab gauges. Operation of metrology lab equipment (CMM, Contour, Form Scan, Surface Tester, Cleanliness Microscope, Video Inspection). Control chart interpretation. Training Winsert employees on gauge use. Data entry and analysis of process studies. Incoming and outgoing audits. Complete cleanliness checks.
SECONDARY JOB FUNCTIONS
Capable of cross-training and supporting operations within the Foundry Laboratory as required to meet business continuity and operational demands. Assist in MSA studies and machine capability studies. Assist Quality Engineer in PPAP data collection.
Assist with calibrations:
OD masters & plungers. Troubleshoot measurement equipment.
Update part measurement programs on:
CMM, Formscan, and similar equipment. Record management (first piece checks, cleanliness tests, etc.)
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
: Time management skills, problem-solving skills, and multitasking. Basic math skills (conversions, geometry, trigonometry & general). Blueprint reading and knowledge of GD&T. Strong organizational skills and detail oriented. Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills. Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis Ability to adapt to changing requirements during normal workflow with limited interruption. Must get along with others.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Must be able to actively move through office space to work with staff Vision must be correctable to allow reading/viewing of documents and computer screen Hearing must be correctable to allow understanding of instructions and communication with others Mobility and coordination must allow for required tasks to be completed.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Minimum high school education. Skill, ability, and work experience in Quality/Inspection preferred. Obtain certification at a ZEISS accredited facility or obtain certification within a defined training period (company sponsored).
