Qualifications and Experience:

Active certification as a Radiation Therapist (ARRT or equivalent required) Demonstrated experience in delivering external beam radiation treatments Proficient in operating linear accelerators and associated equipment Solid understanding of radiation safety and dosing protocols Ability to interpret physician orders and treatment plans Exceptional attention to detail with strong documentation skills Effective communication abilities for working with patients and multidisciplinary teams Compassionate and patient-centered care approach Current BLS certification preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

Prepare, position, and administer radiation therapy as prescribed by radiation oncologists Accurately calibrate, operate, and maintain radiation therapy equipment Monitor patients during treatment and respond to any concerns or changes in condition Maintain precise and timely treatment records, documenting each session's details Uphold strict safety standards to protect patients, visitors, and staff from unnecessary exposure Educate patients about procedures, providing reassurance and answering questions Participate in ongoing quality assurance, safety, and improvement initiatives Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and treatment outcomes Take the next step in your career and support patients throughout their treatment journey.
