Job Overview About us Advanced Veterinary Specialty Center is an 18,000 sqft state-of-the-art specialty veterinary practice currently being built in Walpole, MA. Work alongside skilled healthcare professionals in a collaborative and supportive environment that fosters growth, learning, and professional development. This is an opportunity to help mold a new practice from the ground up and contribute to the fight against cancer, making a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and their families.

Responsibilities:
  • Work alongside skilled veterinary professionals in a collaborative and supportive environment that fosters growth, learning, and professional development
  • Administer radiation therapy treatments to patients according to prescribed treatment plans
  • Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment, ensuring proper calibration and safety measures
  • Collaborate with oncologists and other healthcare professionals to develop and modify precise treatment plans
  • Educate owners on the radiation therapy process, including potential side effects and post-care measures
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documenting treatment plans, progress, and any changes in condition
Qualifications:
  • Degree in Radiation Therapy or related field
  • Valid certification as a Radiation Therapist
  • Proficiency in CT scanning
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Job Types:
