Job Description
The IT Technician will be expected to do the following: Provide Tier 1-2 technical support for all company IT systems, including workstations, software applications, network resources, and broadcast-related systems. Install, configure, and support broadcast automation systems and related hardware to maintain reliable on-air operations. Monitor and troubleshoot digital audio streaming systems to ensure consistent delivery across online and mobile platforms. Perform routine system backups and assist with disaster recovery procedures for broadcast automation and critical station data. Assist with troubleshooting and maintenance of LAN infrastructure, including switches, routers, and internal network cabling. Administer user accounts and access through Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory, including account provisioning, password resets, and permissions management. Support Microsoft Intune device management, including workstation deployment, device enrollment, and policy configuration. Provide administration and user support for Exchange Online, including mailbox setup, permissions management, and email troubleshooting. Deploy, configure, and maintain workstations, printers, and other IT equipment used by station staff. Provide remote and on-site technical support for users across multiple station locations. Maintain IT asset inventory and assist with tracking device deployment, warranties, and lifecycle replacements. Create and maintain technical documentation and assist with staff training on internal systems and tools. Coordinate with vendors and service providers to resolve network outages, hardware failures, and service disruptions. Participate in occasional on-call or after-hours support to address critical system issues. Other duties as needed and assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience. Ability to travel to all Forcht Broadcasting locations. Weekend travel may be necessary, although it is not a common occurrence. Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, systems and services. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
