Category Imaging - Radiology Tech Job Type Contract Step into a vital healthcare role as a Radiology and X-ray Technologist, where you will utilize your experience in diagnostic imaging to support patient care in a dynamic clinical environment. Your expertise with radiology equipment and imaging procedures is essential for producing high-quality images that inform important medical decisions. Qualifications and Experience:
Valid ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification State license in Radiologic Technology (or eligibility to obtain if required) Demonstrated competency in operating X-ray and radiology imaging equipment Previous experience as a Radiologic Technologist in a clinical or hospital setting Strong knowledge of safety protocols and procedures related to radiation exposure Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team
Key Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, under physician direction Ensure proper patient positioning and equipment calibration for accurate image capture Comply with regulatory standards for patient safety and data confidentiality Maintain sterile procedures and support infection control standards Accurately document imaging procedures in patient records Assist with patient mobility and make accommodations for comfort during procedures Collaborate with medical staff to interpret findings and support patient care decisions
