We perform outpatient surgical procedures in Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Pain Management, Plastics, Urology. Position requires weekdays only - no holidays, weekends, or call. Some early mornings and later evenings may be required; schedule subject to change based on surgical schedule and flow of the day. Choice Care Surgery Center:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) to join our surgical team. The Rad Tech is responsible for performing high-quality imaging procedures to assist surgeons and healthcare providers in diagnosing and treating patients. The ideal candidate is technically proficient, safety-conscious, and committed to providing exceptional patient careResponsibilities:
Perform intraoperative and diagnostic imaging procedures as ordered by physicians. Ensure proper positioning of patients to obtain high-quality images while prioritizing patient safety and comfort. Operate and maintain radiologic equipment in compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Adhere to all radiation safety protocols, including proper shielding and exposure monitoring. Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the surgical team to provide imaging support during procedures. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper documentation of imaging studies. Assist in quality control and routine maintenance of imaging equipment.Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited program in Radiological Technology. AART Registered and CPR Current. Knowledgeable of local, state, federal and Joint Commission Regulations. Must possess independent decision making skills. Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects. Excellent communication skills with the staff, physicians, patients and families.
