Key Qualifications:

Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required State licensure as applicable Minimum of one year experience in a radiology or imaging department preferred Competency in operating digital and traditional radiography equipment Proficiency in conducting a range of diagnostic imaging procedures Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient care and confidentiality Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospital environment

Primary Responsibilities:

Prepare and position patients for imaging examinations, ensuring comfort and safety Operate imaging equipment to produce clear, accurate diagnostic images Maintain detailed and accurate patient records and imaging logs Assist radiologists and physicians with diagnostic procedures as needed Adhere strictly to radiation safety guidelines and infection control protocols Monitor equipment performance and report maintenance needs Educate patients regarding procedures to promote understanding and compliance
