Job Description

Category Imaging - Radiology Tech Job Type Contract Take your imaging expertise to the next level in a dynamic hospital environment that values precision and comprehensive care. We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist with a proven ability to excel in fast-paced medical settings. This contract opportunity involves delivering high-quality imaging support, particularly for trauma and operating room procedures.
Schedule:
11:00 am - 7:30 pm, Monday through Friday 1:00 pm - 11:30 pm, every other weekend
Qualifications:
ARRT certification required Current BLS certification required Minimum experience at a Level 1 or Level 2 trauma facility is essential Prior operating room imaging experience is needed Ortho, neuro, and vascular case experience strongly preferred Demonstrated adaptability to variable workload and surgical schedules Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic x-ray procedures with accuracy and compassion in high-acuity situations Collaborate closely with surgeons, nurses, and other clinical staff in the operating room setting Operate and maintain radiologic equipment effectively, ensuring patient safety and image clarity Respond promptly to trauma activation and support emergent needs as part of the imaging team Prepare and position patients for a wide range of radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures Accurately document procedures and maintain compliance with regulatory and quality standards This is a valuable opportunity to utilize your clinical imaging skills in a supportive and technologically advanced hospital environment.
