Job Description

Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract Deliver high-quality patient care by utilizing your expertise in computerized tomography. In this pivotal role, you'll conduct CT imaging procedures and may also perform general diagnostic radiology exams, all under general supervision. Qualifications & Experience:
Proven experience conducting CT scans and diagnostic imaging Knowledge of appropriate patient preparation for computerized tomographic procedures Ability to analyze anatomic structures and operate relevant equipment Experience administering intravenous contrast media, including the use of power injectors Familiarity with ALARA principles and radiation protection techniques Skilled in the use of PACS for image delivery, exception resolution, and image quality assurance Competency in utilizing Radiology Information System (RIS) for study tracking and completion Excellent communication, collaboration, and patient interaction abilities Commitment to maintaining team member standards of excellence in every aspect of care
Key Responsibilities:
Explain CT examination procedures and guidelines to patients, ensuring comfort and understanding Review clinical information and tailor examinations accordingly Prepare exam rooms, replenish and organize supplies, and set up required equipment and sterile fields Perform scans according to established protocols, adjusting settings to meet diagnostic needs Monitor patients for contrast reactions and provide immediate assistance as needed Assist radiologists in complex, sterile procedures such as biopsies Rigorously adhere to documentation standards for both medical records and radiology systems Support a positive, respectful departmental culture through teamwork and open communication Take the next step in your imaging career by applying your specialized skills where they matter most.
