Expand your experience as you coordinate and participate in all computerized tomography (CT) scanning procedures in a forward-thinking healthcare environment. Your role will expose you to different department workflows, strategies for delivering patient care, and opportunities to develop your credentials by working alongside skilled Radiologists and multidisciplinary teams.

Travel assignment
Primary Responsibilities:
Set up, monitor, and operate complex CT imaging equipment for patient diagnostics. Transfer and position patients using safe techniques, applying immobilization devices as necessary. Collect essential patient information, review histories, and screen for allergies. Prepare and administer intravenous contrast media as indicated. Ensure image quality, maintain records, and handle image storage and transfer. Monitor patient status, quickly respond to allergic or emergency events (including providing CPR if needed). Clean and stock your work area, maintaining department inventory levels. Instruct and assist new personnel; support Radiologists with specialized procedures. Participate actively in continuous quality improvement and adherence to departmental and regulatory guidelines. Maintain certification and ongoing registry requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in CT imaging within a clinical or hospital setting. Knowledge of safety standards from the Michigan Department of Public Health. Strong collaborative and communication skills. Current credentials and licensure for CT operation and IV contrast administration. Capable of working independently and in a team environment.
