Job Description

Category Imaging - X-ray Job Type Contract Step into a role where your expertise as an X-ray and Radiologic Technologist makes a difference in patient care and surgical outcomes. This contract position is designed for professionals passionate about diagnostic imaging and surgical support, offering a dynamic work environment over a 13-week engagement.
Schedule:
5x8 hour evening shifts, 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm, Monday through Friday Potential on-call responsibility one day per week
Qualifications:
Current certification as ARRT(R) Valid and active Pennsylvania Radiologic Technologist license Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Proven skill in operating C-arm, O-arm, and portable X-ray units within an operating suite Strong knowledge of radiological safety procedures and quality control Excellent communication and organizational abilities Adaptability for on-call situations and fast-paced environments
Key Responsibilities:
Perform accurate, high-quality X-ray imaging in accordance with physician orders and established protocols Operate a range of imaging equipment (C-arm, O-arm, portable X-ray devices) to support surgical teams in the operating suite Ensure patient safety and comfort, maintaining strict adherence to safety standards and infection control policies Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and fellow technologists to deliver timely imaging results critical for patient care decisions Maintain detailed and accurate patient imaging records and contribute to equipment upkeep and troubleshooting Respond promptly and flexibly while on call to support emergent imaging needs Take advantage of this opportunity to enhance your skills and play a vital role in a collaborative healthcare team.
