Job Description

Category Imaging - Radiology Tech Job Type Contract Step into a vital role where your expertise in radiology and trauma care truly makes a difference. Seeking a skilled technologist proficient in both general X-ray and advanced operating room imaging, ideally with experience in Level 1 or 2 Trauma Hospital environments. This contract position offers an engaging opportunity to provide essential imaging services, supporting exceptional patient care alongside dedicated medical professionals.
Schedule/Hours:
5 shifts per week, 8 hours each: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM Every third weekend rotation (same hours) Includes call time during weekend rotation
Qualifications:
Demonstrated proficiency in OR imaging procedures Prior experience working in a Level 1 or 2 Trauma Hospital required ARRT certification and current state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist Familiarity with portable and fluoroscopic imaging equipment Strong interpersonal skills to foster clear communication with physicians and multidisciplinary teams Solid understanding of radiation safety principles (ALARA) Ability to provide effective patient education and thorough documentation
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately perform portable, fluoroscopic, and OR radiology procedures as ordered Maintain effective communication with referring physicians, radiologists, ancillary staff, and patients to coordinate patient care Prioritize efficient, timely, and customer-focused imaging services Adhere strictly to radiation and hospital safety procedures and reporting protocols Utilize hospital information systems to document and manage imaging records Ensure all clinical principles and procedures are followed while delivering or overseeing radiologic diagnostic services Foster a supportive, compliant environment by adhering to regulatory and institutional policies Take the next step in your radiology career where technical proficiency and compassionate care intersect. and make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes in a dynamic trauma environment!
