Ranch Hand/Laborer

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and energetic Ranch Hand/Laborer to join our dynamic team dedicated to maintaining and enhancing our agricultural and livestock operations. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting daily ranch activities, caring for animals, operating farm machinery, and assisting with maintenance tasks. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors in a hands-on environment, contributing directly to the health of our livestock and the productivity of our farm. The ideal candidate is proactive, physically fit, and eager to learn new skills in a fast-paced setting. Duties Assist with animal husbandry tasks including feeding, watering, cleaning stalls, and ensuring overall animal well-being Operate heavy equipment such as tractors, forklifts, and other farm machinery safely and efficiently Perform equipment repairs, welding, and basic maintenance to keep machinery in optimal condition Support irrigation systems setup and operation to ensure proper water distribution across fields and greenhouses Handle heavy lifting of supplies, feed bags, fencing materials, and other farm-related items Maintain fences, gates, and facilities to ensure safety and security of livestock and property Use hand tools and power tools for general repairs, equipment setup, or construction projects on the ranch Assist with crop cultivation activities including planting, harvesting, pruning, and greenhouse work if applicable Support animal handling practices with care and patience for various species including horses or other livestock Follow safety protocols at all times while working with heavy machinery or performing manual labor Experience Prior supervising experience or leadership roles on a farm or ranch setting is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential Mechanical knowledge related to farm machinery repair, welding, or equipment maintenance is highly valued Hands-on experience with animal husbandry and animal care practices across different species Familiarity with operating forklifts, heavy equipment, power tools, hand tools, irrigation systems, and greenhouses Background in farming or agriculture including crop management or horticulture is advantageous Basic math skills for measurements, calculations related to planting or feeding schedules are necessary Experience in growing crops or working within greenhouse environments enhances suitability for this role Join us in a vibrant environment where your hard work directly impacts the success of our farm operations!
