Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract Step into an impactful contract opportunity as a Registered Behavior Technician, working with PreK through 12th-grade students near Cottonport, LA. As a valued professional in this dynamic environment, you'll provide essential support, guidance, and intervention designed to create positive changes in students' academic and social growth. Utilize your expertise as one of three Registered Behavior Technicians, collaborating with educational staff and families to encourage progress and empower each student. Your passion for making a difference will shine as you implement evidence-based behavioral interventions and support individual achievement.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Experience working with children or adolescents within school settings preferred Strong communication skills for effective interaction with students, teachers, and families Ability to collect, document, and analyze behavioral data accurately Commitment to confidentiality, ethical standards, and professional conduct Flexibility to adapt to varying school environments and individual student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver one-on-one and small group behavioral interventions following individualized plans Monitor and record student progress, maintaining thorough data and documentation Support inclusion by assisting students in both general and special education settings Communicate regularly with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), teachers, and other service providers Implement strategies to reduce behavioral challenges and encourage positive social skills Participate in team meetings and contribute to ongoing treatment planning This rewarding contract role offers hands-on experience in educational settings while making a tangible difference in students' lives.
