Job Description

Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role supporting students by applying your expertise as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). This contract opportunity places you in a dynamic educational environment near Quakertown, PA, where your skills will make a positive impact on the lives of children and their families.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required. Previous experience working in a school or pediatric setting highly preferred. Strong communication skills for collaborating with teachers, support staff, and families. Ability to faithfully implement behavior intervention and treatment plans. Demonstrated patience, compassion, and professionalism. Adaptable approach to meeting the needs of diverse student populations.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct, 1:1 behavioral interventions and support as outlined in students' care plans. Collaborate regularly with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and educational teams. Collect and document data during sessions, reporting progress and challenges. Support students in classroom routines and facilitate their integration into group activities. Communicate regularly with parents, caregivers, and staff to ensure consistency in behavioral strategies. Assist with crisis intervention and de-escalation under supervision as needed.
