Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Executive Director to lead our Senior Living community. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive experience in senior care, and a passion for enhancing the quality of life for residents with diverse needs, including Alzheimer's and dementia care. This role offers an opportunity to oversee daily operations, ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, and foster a compassionate environment that promotes independence and dignity for our residents. Responsibilities Provide strategic leadership and oversee the overall operations of the assisted living and memory care community. Develop, implement, and monitor resident care plans tailored to individual needs, including specialized dementia and Alzheimer's care. Supervise staff, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and fostering a positive team environment. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to long-term care facilities. Manage budgets, financial planning, and resource allocation to maintain operational efficiency. Oversee medication administration procedures in accordance with healthcare standards. Coordinate with healthcare professionals, social workers, and families to support residents' well-being. Promote a safe, welcoming environment that emphasizes resident engagement and quality of life. Lead community outreach efforts to build relationships within the local home & community care network. Monitor operational metrics to improve service delivery and resident satisfaction continuously. Qualifications Candidates must be certified by the state of California to be the administrator of a senior living community. Proven experience in assisted living or nursing home management with a strong background in senior care. Extensive knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's care, and working with residents with developmental disabilities. Prior experience supervising staff within long-term or home & community care settings. Strong understanding of care plans, medication management, and regulatory compliance in healthcare environments. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage operations effectively while maintaining compassionate resident-centered care. Financial acumen with experience in budgeting and resource management. Background in social work or related fields is preferred. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with residents' families, staff, healthcare providers, and community partners. Pay:
$85,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
