RDA Dental Assistant

This opening requires having a Dental Assistant License by the Arkansas State Board of Dental Examiners. Siloam Springs Dental Care (Previously the Office of Dr. Holcomb): We are a growing dental office in Siloam Springs. We provide comprehensive compassionate dental care.

Experience:

• Preferences:

  Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Dental Assistant, Bilingual preferred, Proficiency in dental software for scheduling and record keeping
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality
• Familiarity with aseptic technique and infection control protocols
• Ability to take accurate dental X-rays and perform basic dental laboratory procedures
• Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus
• Strong knowledge of dental anatomy and terminology
• Ability to take vital signs and record patient information accurately

Skills:

• Proficient in using Open Dental software for scheduling and record keeping
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
• Ability to take high-quality dental X-rays using digital imaging technology
• Familiarity with aseptic technique to maintain a sterile environment during procedures
• Competent in dental assisting techniques, including chairside assistance, instrument passing, and suctioning
• Experience working with pediatric patients, including behavior management techniques
• Strong knowledge of dental anatomy, tooth numbering systems, and oral health terminology
• Ability to take vital signs, such as blood pressure and pulse rate, accurately during patient assessments
• Understanding of infection control principles to prevent the spread of diseases in the dental office setting
