Position Summary The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) provides direct, one-on-one behavioral therapy to children under the supervision of a BCBA. RBTs implement individualized treatment plans, collect data, and support children in developing communication, social, adaptive, and behavioral skills. Essential Responsibilities Implement individualized behavior intervention plans developed by the BCBA Provide direct therapy services with professionalism, patience, and compassion Accurately collect and document client data Support skill acquisition and behavior reduction programs Maintain client dignity and confidentiality Collaborate with BCBAs and team members Participate in supervision, trainings, and team meetings Maintain active RBT certification and adhere to ethical guidelines set by the
Behavior Analyst Certification Board Qualifications Required:
High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred) Ability to pass background check Strong communication and organizational skills
Preferred:
Active RBT certification Experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder Previous ABA experience CPR/First Aid certification Physical Requirements Ability to sit, stand, kneel, and engage in floor-based play Ability to lift up to 40 pounds Ability to respond appropriately to behaviors such as aggression or elopement Our Culture & Values At Lighthouse, we operate with: Integrity
