Company teams are asked to stay out for 3 weeks at a time, option to stay home 1 week. There are no set lanes.OTR:
2 days off per week OTR, 2 weeks out/2 days off, 3 weeks out, 6 days off, 6 weeks out, 2 weeks off.Company Trucks Freightliner:
Governed at 68 Thermoking APU 2000w Inverter 72" Sleeper Our tractors are equipped with Lytx safety systems and top speed is now 68, regardless of cruise/foot control. Owner Ops pay and truck requirements: Must have Hazmat and be ready made teams. We require that tractors not be older than 6 years at the time of signing. Must be able to haul 38,000 lbs. All drivers and teams can expect to transport hazardous material (no hazardous waste) . They get a PrePass and we charge tolls back on a monthly basis and base plates at renewal each year.We no longer pay/reimburse owner operators for tolls or base plates. We pay owner operators 73% of 97% of revenue (not including fuel surcharge), or 71% plus 1005 of fuel surcharge. Have freight going to all 48 states, heavy in the Midwest. Most loads are light 20,000 lbs or less is average. Mostly 48 ft vans some 53 ft. With a few flatbeds now. Ideal for Husband and wife teams. Takes a few weeks to get approved thru DOD. We cover the process and cost. The turnover rate is less than 5 %, and only two teams have quit this year out of about 110. Have several that are retiring later this year and with the military build-up, have plenty of business. NO felons at all, regardless how old, misd's can be reviewed if very old, but prefer nothing in the background. Pets are OK but if damage to truck, drivers would be responsible for the damage. Comprehensive medical insurance, dental/vision/ disability policies available 401k with employer match, 6 year vesting period (State Farm Sponsored plan) 7 paid holidays (New Year, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Thanksgiving Friday and Christmas Day) 5 vacation days first year, 10 days after year 1($415/day/team) Urine Testing No cameras in or out: We will never have inward-facing cameras due to the team aspect. We have a retention package that will pay a team $19k over a two year period. $16000 SOB + Retention incentive.
Orientation:
Most can be done online and only need to be in orientation on-site for 1 day.Job Requirements:
Will hire any state except CA. All drivers must have HAZMAT. Must be ready-made teams, will not team drivers up. 2 years recent OTR experience No more than three jobs in the last 5 years No felonies ever, US citizen Ability to obtain DOD Security Clearance (we assist & pay for this) takes about 30 days to return. No reckless/careless citations are allowed and no more than 3 violations within the last 5 years. No more than 2 accidents in last 5 years. Zero-tolerance; any DUI ever Acceptable MVR and background reports 23 or older Hazmat endorsedWage Range:
