Ready Mix Concrete Truck Driver

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting materials to and from construction sites, ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation and mechanical knowledge. The Truck Driver will play a crucial role in supporting our construction projects by facilitating the movement of essential materials. We are a flatwork company and this truck will service our jobs and deliver ready mix to other customers. We operate a Freightliner M2 Volumetric truck. It is a medium duty truck. This position will be trained on how to load and operate a volumetric concrete mixer. Duties Operate trucks to transport concrete and other materials to various construction sites. Load and unload materials, ensuring proper handling and securing of loads. Collaborate with site managers and other team members to coordinate deliveries and installation schedules. Perform routine inspections and maintenance on vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Assist in concrete forming, finishing, and installation as needed on-site. If skilled. Utilize heavy equipment as required, including loaders and concrete mixers. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle maintenance, and any incidents that occur during transport. Requirements Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record. Class B minimum. Proven experience in truck driving, preferably within the construction industry. Strong mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation. Experience with loader operation, concrete forming, mixing, finishing, and installation is desirable. Ability to work in various weather conditions and adapt to changing job site environments. With ability to start work early in the morning. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members on-site. Speaking English and Spanish is a bonus. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices while operating vehicles and equipment.
