Rear Load Trash Truck Driver

Duties:

• Operate rear load trash truck to transport waste from commerical businesses to the landfill.
• Load and unload materials using manual or mechanical methods
• Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating the vehicle
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the truck is in good working condition
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries

Qualifications:

• Valid Class B or higher commercial driver's license (CDL)
• CDL assistance provided for the right individual.
• Experience driving dump trucks, straight trucks, school bus or similar preferred
• Ability to operate rear loader trucks and other specialized equipment as required
• Strong physical stamina and ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 80 lbs occasionally)
• Excellent driving record with no major violations or accidents in the past 3 years
• Good communication skills and ability to interact professionally with customers and coworkers
