Receiving and Warehouse Associate

Job Description Riverhawk Industrial Supply, a well-established tool and supply distributor, is looking for a quality individual to join as a receiving / warehouse worker. The open position is full-time, Monday through Friday, 8am - 5pm and is located in Mulberry, Florida.

The job focus is:

Receiving product from vendors into ERP system. Sorting and counting products that are delivered to Riverhawk Stocking / put away products in the warehouse Unloading trucks either by hand or with equipment such as a forklift or pallet jack Researching inventory issues Support other departments with pulling orders, packing, palletizing, loading and delivering as needed Engage in inventory bin location and shelving projects Operating a forklift and pallet jack Maintain a clean, safe and operational warehouse Perform additional warehouse tasks as needed Job Requirements All aspects of the position must be performed with speed and accuracy. The job is physically demanding.

Physical requirements include:

The ability to safely move 3,000 pound pallets with a pallet jack The ability to safely lift and carry 60 pound boxes The ability to safely climb ladders The ability to stand/walk in warehouse environment for 8 hrs/day In addition to exceptional attention to detail and dependability, the ideal candidate will work well with others and have a positive attitude. The candidate must be a self-starter and extremely organized. Minimum education is a high school diploma. Warehouse experience is required and receiving experience would be considered a plus. Applicants must consent to a background check, mandatory drug screening and have a clean driving record. Compensation and Benefits Pay range $17 - $22/hour, depending on level of direct experience with opportunity for additional incentives based on performance. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and 401k. There are 8 paid holidays and beginning at 6 months the position is also eligible for paid time off.
