Full-Time Receptionist / Optician Ketchikan Eye Care Center - Ketchikan, Alaska Ketchikan Eye Care Center is seeking a dependable, friendly, and motivated individual to join our team as a Full-Time Receptionist / Optician . This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a professional healthcare environment, and is looking for a long-term career opportunity with room for growth. No prior optical or eye care experience is required — we are happy to provide full on-the-job training for the right candidate. Position Responsibilities Greeting and checking in patients Scheduling appointments and answering phones Assisting patients with eyewear selection and fittings Ordering and managing glasses and contact lenses Maintaining patient records and office organization Supporting doctors and staff with daily clinic operations Providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment Qualifications Positive attitude and strong communication skills Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Comfortable working with computers and learning new systems Professional appearance and customer-focused mindset Previous customer service or medical office experience is helpful but not required Compensation & Benefits Starting pay: $20-$26/hour , depending on work history and experience Pay increases available as skills and capability are demonstrated Opportunity to earn up to $10,000/year in bonuses in addition to base pay Paid holidays Paid time off (PTO) Paid sick time Monday-Friday schedule Early office closure at 3:00 PM on Fridays 401(k) with employer match planned for later this year Stable, supportive team environment with long-term growth opportunities Schedule Full-time Monday through Friday No weekends About Us Ketchikan Eye Care Center is committed to providing high-quality eye care and outstanding patient service to the Ketchikan community.
