Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Reconnaissance and Attack Expert - Senior Aviation Military Analyst to join our team at Fort Rucker as we provide professional support services for T2COM subordinate units. In this dynamic role, you will leverage your extensive military-specific capabilities, specialized knowledge and critical thinking skills. Your expertise will help enhance the mission of Aviation Future Capability Directorate (A-FCD) through detailed analysis, enduring force modernization efforts and supporting the fielding of emerging capabilities. General Responsibilities Provide the necessary subject matter expertise, and have the ability to perform the tasks required for integration and synchronization Conduct analysis of Aviation organizations in support of formation-based assessments, simulation activities, and annual capabilities needs assessments. Tailor methodology and conduct analysis to best examine Aviation tasks, conditions, standards, and gaps across select Aviation formations. Write/support the revision or re-writing of a substantial number of JCIDS, supporting, and new emerging requirements documents. Review each of the manned/unmanned platform programs and analyze to determine the validity of their capability. Enduring Aviation portfolio modernization strategies and fielding of current and future aviation systems. Qualifications Reconnaissance and Attack Expert (Senior Aviation Military Analyst) Rated Army Aviator with at least fifteen (15) years of Aviation flight/combat operations experience. Senior or Master rated Aviator . Minimum of 5 years' experience working in capability management /combat developments . Must possess the military or civilian equivalent staff courses similar to CGSC/ILE or Warrant Officer Senior Staff Course. Must be capable of independent work based on broad senior level guidance to produce completed white papers, concept papers, requirements documents, operational views, and other written products as required within the scope of the task order. Must be able to review and edit products to ensure they are written at the graduate level prior to delivery to the Government with only minor edits required by the Government. Experience in planning, executing and facilitating Joint Working Groups. Experience as a Team Lead conducting Aviation studies and/or operational test events with experience in developing capabilities and evaluating technologies. Access to special access programs (SAP) is required. SECRET clearance required. Preferred/Desired Experience as a Standardization Instructor Pilot (SIP) in Army attack and reconnaissance aircraft utilized by tactical Army Aviation organizations since 2010 desired. Military or civilian equivalent training on how the Army Runs. Understands and capable of providing detailed analysis or sub analysis to team members on the tactical operational employment of Army Aviation Reconnaissance and Attack capabilities in order to quickly identify operational gaps that need to be closed. Staff experience planning attack, reconnaissance and assault missions in an organization similar to an Army tactical organization consisting of 24 AH-64 helicopters or 30 UH-60 helicopters Prior tactical operational management experience of a organization of 400 plus personnel Primary author of a Joint Requirements Oversight Council (JROC) approved JCIDS document Participation as a direct team member in an Army Aviation Capability Based Assessment (CBA) for attack or reconnaissance aircraft Join us to make a meaningful impact supporting national security through innovative aviation and military analysis!
