About SineCera White Bluff SineCera White Bluff is a short-term residential treatment facility located at 1115 Old Charlotte Pike, White Bluff, Tennessee. SineCera serves veterans and first responders who struggle with mental health conditions as well as those who struggle with alcohol and/or drug addiction. Our mission is to provide compassionate, evidence-based, and structured care that helps individuals restore stability, resilience, and purpose so they can return to their communities and function as productive, healthy members of society. Services provided may include residential treatment, behavioral health support, individual and group therapy, medication management, relapse prevention, life skills development, case management, recovery support services, crisis intervention, and discharge planning. Position Summary The Recovery Support Specialist provides direct support, supervision, and encouragement to clients participating in SineCera White Bluff's residential recovery program. This role helps create a safe, structured, and supportive environment that promotes healing, accountability, personal growth, and long-term recovery. Recovery Support Specialists work closely with the clinical and medical teams to assist veterans and first responders as they navigate recovery from substance use and co-occurring mental health challenges. Key Responsibilities Provide direct supervision and support to residents throughout daily activities and programming Help maintain a safe, structured, and recovery-focused environment Build positive, professional relationships with clients while encouraging accountability and growth Monitor client behavior, emotional well-being, and overall safety Assist with daily routines, transportation coordination, meals, and recreational activities as needed Facilitate or assist with psychoeducational and recovery-focused groups when assigned Document observations, incidents, and client interactions accurately and timely Support clients during moments of emotional distress or crisis and communicate concerns to clinical staff Uphold confidentiality and maintain professional boundaries at all times Reinforce program expectations, routines, and recovery goals Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Experience in behavioral health, residential treatment, recovery support, or human services preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to remain calm and professional in high-stress situations Passion for supporting individuals in recovery and mental wellness CPR/First Aid certification preferred Preferred Qualifications Experience working with veterans, first responders, or trauma-affected populations Knowledge of recovery principles and trauma-informed care Peer support or behavioral health experience preferred
