$2,560.00 Position Overview Seeking an experienced Recreational Aide for a Long Term Care setting in Kapaa, HI. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing recreational activities that enhance residents' quality of life while supporting patient care needs in collaboration with the healthcare team. Responsibilities Plan and implement recreational and therapeutic activities Assess resident interests, needs, and participation levels Assist with community outings and recreational excursions Provide one-on-one resident engagement as needed Maintain and update activity calendars Coordinate supplies, equipment, and materials for activities Assist with setup, cleanup, and inventory management Operate audiovisual equipment and transport vehicles when required Support CNA and nursing staff with patient care tasks including toileting, bathing, grooming, and dressing Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and patient care planning Requirements Active CNA Certification required Active BLS Certification required Minimum 2 years of Recreational Aide experience required Experience with MDS required Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively with healthcare teams Passion for improving resident quality of life through recreational activities Additional Details Long Term Care setting 13-week contract assignment 40 guaranteed hours per week Must have active state license/certification Experience in therapeutic recreation and patient engagement strongly preferred HC01

Pay:

$60.00 - $64.00 per hour
