Recreational Vehicle Technician / Travel Trailer Mechanic

Responsibilities Perform comprehensive inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on travel trailers, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and tire maintenance. Troubleshoot electrical systems and perform soldering or wiring repairs as needed. Repair and replace trailer components including HVAC units to ensure optimal performance. Repair roofs, slide-outs, awnings and towing components. Prepare units for rentals, sales, and customer delivery. Keep clean, organized service records and work area. Work independently and as part of a team. Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently for assembly, equipment repair and heavy lifting tasks. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair procedures clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction with the work performed. Experience Travel Trailer technician experience preferred. No fear of heights. Experience in automotive, marine, HVAC, or related mechanical fields considered. Strong diagnostic and repair skills. Basic tools required. Valid driver's license. Reliable, professional, and punctual. Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors. Prior experience in plumbing or specialized equipment repair is advantageous but not mandatory. Ability to safely operate and maneuver a forklift. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to maintenance and repairs.
