Lutheran Social Services of Southern California began in December 1944 when a group of Lutheran congregations in San Diego came together to discuss how to better assist families in need. They began discussing how to form a Welfare Commission. Their vision expanded when they came together with another group of Lutheran congregations in Los Angeles having the very same conversation. Lutheran Social Services of Southern California was officially incorporated in 1946 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit social service agency. The mission has stayed true to its earliest beginnings, to be a servant to those in need. Today LSSSC serves thousands of individuals and families throughout Southern California with over 45 programs/services at 18 locations. The Recruitment & Workforce Analyst is responsible for supporting the organization's human resources and workforce needs through full cycle recruitment, workforce analysis, staffing coordination, and recruitment reporting. This exempt level Human Resources position plays a critical role in identifying, attracting, and hiring qualified candidates while analyzing workforce trends, vacancy metrics, turnover patterns, hiring outcomes, and staffing needs to support operational and strategic decision making across the organization. This position partners closely with Human Resources leadership, hiring managers, and operational leaders to develop effective recruitment strategies, improve hiring processes, monitor workforce trends, and support workforce planning initiatives. The Recruitment & Workforce Analyst is a strategic talent professional who combines strong recruitment expertise with advanced analytical, organizational, and communication skills. This role requires the ability to exercise sound independent judgment, manage multiple priorities effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while supporting workforce planning and talent acquisition initiatives.Requirements:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Manage full cycle recruitment processes including sourcing, screening, interviewing, scheduling, reference checks, offer coordination, and onboarding support. Partner with department leaders and hiring managers to identify staffing needs, recruitment priorities, and workforce challenges across the organization. Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract qualified and diverse candidates for exempt and nonexempt positions. Analyze workforce and recruitment data including vacancy rates, turnover trends, time to fill, hiring outcomes, staffing patterns, and sourcing effectiveness. Prepare and maintain recruitment reports, workforce metrics, dashboards, and staffing analyses for Human Resources and executive leadership review. Monitor organizational staffing trends and provide recommendations to support workforce planning, recruitment effectiveness, and operational efficiency. Maintain and track open positions, recruitment activity, and staffing updates to ensure timely hiring across all locations and departments. Coordinate and participate in recruitment events, job fairs, workforce development initiatives, and community outreach activities. Support onboarding activities and collaborate with Human Resources staff to ensure a positive candidate and new hire experience. Maintain applicant tracking systems, recruitment records, personnel data, and workforce reports in compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements. Assist with process improvement initiatives related to recruitment operations, staffing workflows, workforce reporting, and talent acquisition practices. Collaborate with Human Resources leadership on retention initiatives and workforce stabilization efforts by identifying staffing trends and workforce challenges. Ensure recruitment and hiring practices remain compliant with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws, including California employment regulations. Perform other related Human Resources duties as assigned.Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field preferred. Minimum of three years of recruitment, talent acquisition, workforce planning, Human Resources, or related experience required. Experience analyzing workforce data, recruitment metrics, staffing trends, or operational reports preferred. Strong knowledge of recruitment practices, interviewing techniques, onboarding processes, and Human Resources operations. Ability to analyze data, prepare reports, identify trends, and support strategic workforce recommendations. Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, HRIS systems, applicant tracking systems, and workforce reporting tools. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee and applicant information with professionalism and discretion. Knowledge of California employment laws and Human Resources compliance practices preferred.Supervisory Responsibilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word Processing software and Spreadsheet software.Work Environment:
