In this vital role, you will implement evidence-based behavioral interventions under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). Duties Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles to support clients with autism and other developmental disabilities Collect, record, and analyze data on client behaviors to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as grooming, feeding, and toileting, promoting independence Support clients during educational activities and behavioral therapy sessions aligned with their care plans Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding client confidentiality and managing medical records securely Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent implementation of behavior management strategies Participate in ongoing training to stay current on best practices in behavioral health, special education, and medical terminology Skills Strong understanding of behavioral therapy techniques and applied behavior analysis (ABA) methods Experience working with children or individuals with autism and developmental disabilities Ability to assist with ADLs and promote independence through patient-centered care approaches Proficiency in data collection, documentation, and maintaining accurate medical records Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality standards in healthcare settings Excellent teaching skills with a compassionate approach to working with diverse populations Effective communication skills for collaborating with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams Embark on a fulfilling career where your enthusiasm for teaching, patience, and dedication can truly transform lives.
