Job Description

Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract Make a difference in the lives of students by supporting their behavioral and social-emotional growth in an educational setting. This contract opportunity is ideal for a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or a social worker with behavioral skills, looking to make an immediate impact through the end of the school year. Work closely with students and staff in a collaborative environment, using your expertise to foster positive outcomes and meaningful progress.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Current RBT certification and/or BCBA credentials, or a background as a social worker with behavioral intervention experience Prior experience providing behavioral or ABA support in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred Solid understanding of behavior intervention strategies and individualized support plans Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Collaborative approach to working with multidisciplinary teams Compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to empower students
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver behavioral support and intervention services to students as directed by educational or clinical teams Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) under supervision Track and document student progress and behavioral data Provide guidance to teachers and staff on effective behavioral supports Assist with crisis intervention and de-escalation as needed Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards
