Job Description

Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract To Hire Support the growth and development of young students this Extended School Year as a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in a one-on-one educational setting. Work closely with 1st grade students, applying your behavioral expertise to help them thrive academically and socially. You'll enjoy the resources of a committed on-site administration team, ensuring continued guidance as you make a meaningful difference. This full-time (40 hours per week), contract-to-hire opportunity offers you the chance to use your skills and compassion in a supportive school environment.
Qualifications & Experience:
Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification or Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential required Experience providing behavioral support in an educational setting, preferably with 1st grade or young elementary-age children Strong understanding of Autism Spectrum Disorder and ADHD; direct experience is especially valued Proven background in designing, implementing, and tracking individualized behavioral interventions Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with educators, administrators, and families Adaptability, patience, and a genuine passion for helping children with unique learning and behavioral needs
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver one-on-one behavioral intervention services to a 1st grade student, focusing on individualized supports Collaborate with on-site administrative and instructional staff to develop and revise behavior intervention plans Monitor student progress, document applied strategies, and adjust supports as necessary Foster a safe, encouraging environment that nurtures students' growth, inclusion, and independence Communicate regularly with teachers and families to report on progress and suggested strategies Ready to take the next step in your career and contribute to impactful student success? to help shape an inclusive, supportive educational experience for students who need you most!
