Job Description

Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract To Hire Make a meaningful difference this summer by supporting young learners in an engaging extended school year program. This contract-to-hire opportunity is ideal for a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) who thrives in a collaborative school environment and wants to build strong, individualized relationships with 1st-grade students. Work one-on-one with students who have diverse behavioral needs, particularly those with Autism and ADHD, and help them achieve their full potential. On-site administration provides guidance and support, ensuring you have the resources and mentorship needed to excel in your role.
Qualifications:
Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Experience working with 1st-grade or elementary-aged children Background supporting students with Autism, ADHD, or related behavioral challenges Knowledge of evidence-based behavioral intervention strategies Strong communication and documentation skills Adaptability and patience in dynamic classroom settings Your core responsibilities will include: Implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under supervision Collaborating closely with teachers, administrators, and families to support student goals Delivering one-on-one support to students, reinforcing positive behaviors and developing essential skills Monitoring progress and adjusting strategies as needed Keeping accurate data on behavioral progress for school and parent communication Fostering a supportive, inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages growth and confidence This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position in a welcoming school environment where your expertise and compassion will make a daily impact.
