Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and design tailored therapy plans based on each patient's needs, goals, and physician directions Modify treatment plans as necessary, ensuring progress toward effective discharge Delegate and direct all physical therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring high standards of care Create functional rehabilitation programs to support patients' successful return to community activities Educate patients, families, colleagues, and students about therapeutic techniques and self-management Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with local, state, and federal requirements Follow clinic protocols for personal appearance, attendance, and punctuality Promote patient and staff safety by adhering to organizational safety standards
Qualifications:
Current, unrestricted Physical Therapy license (or eligibility for licensure) Experience in outpatient and/or hospital therapy settings preferred Deep understanding of safety considerations such as safe patient/material handling, infection control, and fall prevention Commitment to best practice standards and ongoing professional development Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
